In the first place, how does the website work?

First of all, I will explain how the website is made.

server

A server is a device that can record websites and publish them on the web. Think of it as a USB memory that exists on the web.

This isn’t basically a purchase, but a “borrow”.

Think of using a service that pays a rental fee to a server company and posts a homepage on the web, like the monthly mobile phone usage fee.

The monthly rental fee varies depending on the capacity and functions that can be stored. 800 to 5000 yen is a typical market price.

domain

A domain is the core part of a URL address.

Example) union@fukuoka.ne.jp ← The red part is the domain

The reason why a domain is necessary is because it becomes the basis of domain = address (address).

This domain can be used by borrowing or purchasing.

When renting, borrowing the server mentioned above usually comes with a free domain, so you will use it.

The price is higher for “popular ones”.
